- Black currant
THE ORIGIN STORY
We went to Kenya in 2017 and out of hundreds of coffees we tried, this was one of only four we hand picked to bring back to roast. The Giakanja Farmer's Cooperative Society received us with open arms and showed us why their coffee tastes so incredible. We are thrilled to offer this incredible coffee again this year. Giakanja's pristine and newly renovated washing station and detailed processing methods translate to quality beans and clean flavors. Farm managers have a clear goal in mind to produce some of the best coffee in Kenya and even have plans to become totally organic, a feat not often seen in Kenya due to climate change and growing conditions.
