THE ORIGIN STORYThis single variety coffee hails from the Kinini Cooperative, where a small group of 48 producers, most of whom are women, grow this exceptional coffee. We notice notes of papaya and toasted coconut.
Jacquie Turner and Malcolm Clear took great care in establishing a Cooperative that truly cares about the farmers who produce the coffee. In fact, the due diligence required to draw up a contract to ensure the farmers are looked after and not taken advantage of took over a year to complete. One notable part of this agreement is their commitment to donating 10% of profits directly to development projects in health, education, etc.
All of this care and hard work helps contribute to noticeable quality in a clean and crisp cup. Look for the beautiful lasting sweetness that will leave you longing for more.
