What is the cupping class?
Enhance your tasting experience and learn how to perceive coffee like the experts! This class will feature four of our newest offerings.
Class begins with an introduction to the coffees we’ve selected for the day, their origins, producers, and milling process. After a 20-30 minute cupping session, we will use categories such as flavor notes, acidity, balance, aftertaste, and mouth feel to discuss the differences between each of the offerings.
Limit: 10 participants
What is the roasting class?
This 60 minute class will introduce the basic principles of coffee roasting and how they apply to our direct trade: Honduras: Mi Tazita. Participants will get a hands-on approach while identifying sensory milestones, and learning the science and language applied to roasting. While the coffee is being cooled and packaged, instructors will lead an open discussion about the process. Then you will be on your way with your freshly roasted 12oz bag!
